Context:

Our global Finance team is a versatile and growing team, organized for agility and efficiency. Strategically positioned close to the factories and R D teams in the United States, Netherlands, and China; Finance maintains short lines of communication with other functions, enabling a deep understanding of the stories behind the numbers. Regular visits to our high-tech factories for physical inspections further strengthen this connection. Our Finance team covers a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including financial administration, management accounting, statutory accounting, treasury, tax compliance, business control, and ESG. By managing all these activities within one team, we eliminate silos and reduce the risk of duplicate efforts.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Financial Controller to join our fast-growing Finance team. In this role, you will contribute to our financial reporting processes and support data-driven decision-making. You will become part of the entrepreneurial team working on rapidly growing the US site and will have access to subject matter experts in the Netherlands. You will be the financial sparring partner for the US Management Team, accountable for the financial reporting to the HQ and identifying financial process improvements for all processes ranging from Sales through to Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Enhance processes:

Work on improving our organizational processes and controls to maintain accurate and reliable data.

Provide financial insights:

Conduct variance analysis, spot trends, and work with various teams to ensure clear and accurate financial reporting.

Foster communication:

Share financial insights in a way that’s easy to understand, empowering teams and management to make informed decisions.

Ensure compliance:

Play a key role in upholding accounting standards and adhering to company policies.

Leverage your skills:

Use your Excel expertise to create and maintain financial models, driving data-based decision-making.

Strengthen controls:

Design and monitor internal systems that ensure financial integrity and compliance with regulations.

Contribute to reporting:

Be a part of our financial reporting process, helping prepare management reports.

Identify risks and solutions:

Help us spot potential financial risks and craft strategies to protect the company’s stability and future growth.

Qualifications:

CPA or CFA is required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. 5 to 7 years of experience in finance or accounting, equipping you with a strong foundation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, and experience with SAP is a welcome bonus. Ability to analyze complex information and find practical solutions. You’re self-motivated, take initiative, and can work independently when needed. Must be fluent in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills that help you collaborate effectively across teams. You have a keen eye for detail and a dedication to delivering accurate work. You’re eager to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
