Controller Controller
The Maine Turnpike Authority (MTA), Maine’s Gold Star Memorial Highway, seeks a Controller to work from its headquarters in Portland, Maine. The Controller is responsible for the daily accounting operations of Maine Turnpike Authority. This includes the production of financial reports, budget development, maintenance of accounting records, auditing, and a comprehensive set of controls and procedures. The Controller is also responsible for the accuracy of MTA’s reported financial results and ensuring they comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards. Job Description The position is classified at a Range 22, $101,899 to $167,856, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental insurance, retirement plan, health reimbursement account; paid vacation and sick leave, and 13 paid holidays.
