Finance Director Confidential Randolph, NJ 07869 Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical accounting, financial planning, and compliance management. This role is critical in ensuring the financial health of the organization, providing strategic insights, and guiding the company towards its financial goals. The Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Responsibilities Lead the finance department in managing all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting. Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s objectives. Oversee technical accounting functions to ensure compliance with International Accounting Standards (IAS) and other regulatory requirements. Manage cost management initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and profitability. Conduct thorough financial planning and forecasting to support business decisions. Ensure accurate general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation on a regular basis. Prepare and interpret comprehensive financial reports for senior management and stakeholders. Monitor compliance management processes to mitigate risks associated with financial operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights that drive strategic planning initiatives. Lead and manage M&A activities, including identifying potential acquisition targets, conducting financial due diligence, negotiating deals, and overseeing post-merger integration. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree or CPA preferred. Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably as a Director of Finance or similar position. Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices. Demonstrated expertise in cost management and financial planning. Proficiency in general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation processes. Familiarity with IAS regulations and compliance management practices. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing finance teams. Exceptional communication skills for presenting financial information to various stakeholders.
