Job Description

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Step Up Behavioral Therapy Center Doral, FL 33166

Duties:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), to address the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians and other team members.
  • Collect and analyze data on patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess behavioral, emotional, and cognitive functioning.
  • Provide consultation and support to families, caregivers, and educational professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of behavior analysis.
Experience:
  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligibility for certification.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a clinical or educational setting.
  • Proficiency in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with special education laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
