Overview:
The Medical Technologist performs andinterprets analysis on patient specimens through the use of complexlaboratory techniques. The Medical Technologist Provides medicalstaff with information to aid in patient diagnosis. Performs dutiesand responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission,values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
MedicalLaboratory Technician Education:
Associate’s degree in a majoracceptable to a certification agency for
MLTCertification/Registration:
MLT ASCP or equivalent OR MedicalTechnologist I Associate degree with MLT certification& 3 yearsclinical experience Approved Military Training (if applicable)
ORMedical Technologist II Education:
Bachelor’s degree.
Certifications:
MT or MLS (ASCP) or equivalent required
