We have two assistants that have been there for many years. We prioritize patient education and strive for a stress-free environment by working exclusively with PPO insurance plans. License/Certification:

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take dental x-rays
- Prepare and maintain dental equipment and supplies
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Adjust partials, dentures, night guards, make temp crowns, packing gingival retraction cord.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform patient assessments
- Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA regulations
- Experience assisting with various dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, cleanings, crown & bridge, impressions. Implant experience is not required, but strongly recommended.
- Familiarity with Dentrix, Open Dental or other dental practice management systems
- Basic understanding of medical imaging techniques As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients.
You will work closely with the dentist to ensure efficient and effective treatment procedures. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work well in a team environment will contribute to the success of our practice.
