The ideal candidate will assist the dentist in providing high-quality dental care, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. This role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of dental procedures, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for use. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with clinic protocols. Perform infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Take dental X-rays and ensure proper imaging techniques are followed. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic using Dentrix software. Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques to enhance patient care. Qualifications Previous experience in a dentistry is preferred but not required. Knowledge of medical documentation practices and infection control protocols. Familiarity with dental maging techniques, including X-ray administration. Understanding of CADCAM and Digital Dentistry a plus. Proficient in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
