Dental Assistant Choi Dental Care Ridgewood, NJ 07450 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled (will also train the right candidate) Dental Assistant/Receptionist with great customer care to join the newly opened dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dentist in delivering high-quality services. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared. Take dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols. Record patient medical history and any relevant information for the dentist’s review. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic, including sterilization of instruments and equipment. Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups using Dentrix software. Understand and apply medical coding for insurance purposes when necessary. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
