Compensation:
$21 – $27 hourly
Responsibilities:
Equip and prepare treatment rooms for examination and procedures by laying out necessary sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials Measure and document vital signs and update medical history for patients Ensure dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use Help dentists and dental hygienists during procedures or examinations by providing suction, handing off dental instruments, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team Provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums after procedures, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and schedule appointments for patient care follow up
Qualifications:
An Associate’s Degree or a certification from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required Computer skills and experience with dental software and updating patient histories is needed Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are preferred About Company Small Family Practice with Patient care as number one priority.
