WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Someone who graduated from an accredited dental assisting program. A great communicator that wants to make a difference in our patients care. Someone who thrives in a busy environment and is a team player. Eagerness to learn and provide extraordinary care to our patients. Previous Oral Surgery and General Anesthesia experience a plus!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the dentist during generalized pediatric dental procedures, including general anesthesia. Clean the patient’s teeth. Fluoride application Take, expose and develop digital radiographs and 3D oral scanning. Provide hygiene and diet education. Take impressions. Schedule follow-up exams. Review schedule to make sure appointments are scheduled appropriately. Set-up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms. Parents consults-discuss treatment plans. Clean and sterilize instruments. Lab work. Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area. Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines. Participate in marketing endeavors Write letters to be sent to referrals.
