Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a key role in providing preventive dental care and educating patients on optimal oral health. Responsibilities:
Perform dental cleanings to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth. Conduct oral health assessments, including reviewing medical history, taking X-rays, and screening for oral diseases. Apply preventive treatments such as sealants and fluoride. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition. Assist dentists during procedures and provide post-operative care instructions. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with infection control protocols. Sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist. CPR certification. Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health, and hygiene techniques. Proficiency in using dental tools and technology (e.g., X-ray machines, ultrasonic scalers). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
