American Dental Center is looking for a part-time Dental Hygienist, to join our multi-doctor, clinical team in Union, New Jersey.
Position Overview:
This role focuses on delivering high-quality dental care through comprehensive oral health services and patient education. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier oral health care, enhancing patients’ quality of life, and building lasting relationships within the community. Schedule – Some flexibility available
Tuesdays (9:00-7:00)
Thursdays (9:00-7:00)
Saturdays •2 per month• (8:00-2:00)
What we offer:
For Part Time
Pay:
$50.00 – $55.00 per hour + monthly bonus potential

Previous experience working as a hygienist is always great, but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply as well. The hygienist we hire must have an active hygiene license for the state of New Jersey. New hygiene grads must be applying for license soon. Must also be local anesthesia certified or willing to get certified (for which we will reimburse).

Responsibilities
Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health Assessments
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
Assist dentists with exams and treatments, and take dental X-rays
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and adhere to sterilization protocols
Qualifications
Education:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene
License:
Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Certifications:
Local anesthesia certification and CPR/First Aid (if applicable)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
