The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to the highest standards of dental practice. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent patient interaction skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients. Diagnose and treat various oral health issues, including performing oral surgery and prosthodontics. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize dental terminology effectively in patient communications and documentation. Manage patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide exceptional patient care. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. 2 years MINIMUM of practicing dentistry. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Proficiency in dental office procedures and familiarity with medical terminology. Experience with oral surgery techniques is preferred but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Knowledge of Open Dental software is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
