Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations of patients’ teeth, gums, and mouth to diagnose dental conditions. Perform various dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery. Create treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Manage dental fabrication processes for prosthetics and other dental appliances. Utilize Dentrix software for patient record management and scheduling. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Maintain an aseptic technique during all procedures to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive care. Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and incorporate new techniques as appropriate. Skills Proficient in dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to the field. Experience in prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable. Strong understanding of root canal therapy techniques and oral surgery procedures. Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor. Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure safety during procedures.
