Abra Dental provides the highest quality dental care to children and adults in a comfortable and caring environment. Abra Dental offers a wide range of dental services including: Preventive, Cosmetic, Restorative and Reconstructive Dentistry and Orthodontics to achieve optimal dental health. Experienced pediatric, general, specialty dentists and orthodontists on staff are able to take care of all oral conditions.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive oral exams. Devise and implement treatment plan. Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests. Provide dental treatment and diagnose and prevent oral diseases, including: Remove decay from teeth and fill cavities Repair cracked or fractured teeth Place sealants and whitening agents on teeth Administer anesthetics to keep patients from feeling pain during procedures Make models and measurements for dental appliances, such as dentures, to fit patients Teach patients about diets, flossing, the use of fluoride, and other aspects of dental care Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws. Work closely with dental hygienists and assistants. Care for each patient with personal attention while performing dental treatments.

Required Licensure:

Valid license to practice dentistry in New Jersey issued by the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry.

Required Education and Training:

A minimum of a Doctorate in Dentistry (DMD, DDS) from an accredited School of Dentistry in the United States, plus 3 months of professional experience in dentistry, as detailed below.

Required Experience:

A minimum of 3 months of demonstrated professional experience administering dental exams and treatments. A minimum of 3 months of demonstrated professional experience performing root canal therapy. A minimum of 3 months of demonstrated professional experience performing simple and surgical extractions. Excellent income potential with a daily average of $650 minimum daily draw or 30% of collected production, whichever is higher. Current ranges average ($650-$2,200) In the event that a dentist’s collected production is less than the “Minimum daily draw” on any given day, the dentist will receive a draw against future collection-based payments up to the stated amount.
