  • Assess the nutritional needs of residents and developindividualized meal plans.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state,and local regulations and guidelines.
  • Monitor and documentresidents’ nutritional status and progress.
  • Provide nutritioneducation and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
  • Assists Director of Clinical Operations with recruiting, training,and scheduling of Registered Dietitians
  • Collaborate withinterdisciplinary teams to improve residents’ overall health andwell-being.
  • Provide coverage in multiple buildings based oncompany needs.
  • All other duties as assigned. Qualifications
  • Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of theAcademy of Nutrition and Dietetics and licensed inNutrition/Dietetics as required by the applicable state.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field isrequired; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years ofexperience in dietary services in a long-term care setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability toeffectively interact with residents, families, and staff.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in dietaryservices.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reportgeneration.
  • Must be able to read and interpret dining servicecost reports, financial data, etc.
  • Compliance with COVID-19Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/orCustomers.
  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 10 pounds,push/pull a maximum of 10 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk forextended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work around food andcleaning products.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
