Growth Opportunities Director of Nursing Duties:
- Provide leadership and oversight to the nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Manage and coordinate nursing schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to resident care
- Oversee the implementation of resident care plans and ensure they are updated as needed
- Monitor and assess resident health status, identifying any changes or concerns
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to residents
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in nursing administration
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing administration or a related role, with 1 year experience in a Rehabilitation Hospital
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with resident rights and regulations governing post acute care facilities
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team
- Proficient in using electronic medical records systems
