$103K – $123K a year 10 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Long term care experience RN License Mid-level Bachelor’s degree 2 years Nurse management Nursing Full Job Description We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing , with a current Pennsylvania RN license, to assist with leading our clinical team at Tucker House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) assists the Director of Nursing (DON) in the operation of the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing assumes responsibility in the absence of the DON and at other times, as may be delegated. The Assistant Director of Nursing Services assumes full-time administrative and clinical authority, responsibility and accountability for the delivery of nursing services in the facility. Manages employees in the provision of care and services according to professional standards of nursing practice, consistent with facility philosophy of care and state and federal laws and regulations. Develops and implements policies and procedures consistent with current law. In collaboration with Nursing Home Administrator, allocates department resources in an efficient and economic manner to enable each resident to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental and psycho social well being. Collaborates with other departments, professionals, consultants, and organizations, including government agencies and advocacy groups, to develop support and coordination of resident care, related administrative functions and to represent the interests of the facility. Directs and supervises nursing personnel to insure proper resident care. Maintains current skills and knowledge through continuing education. Applies information to job responsibilities.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Baccalaureate degree preferred.
Licenses:
Current, active license as Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania. Active CPR Certification required. .
Experience:
Two years professional nursing experience in long term care setting. At least two years Nursing Management experience.
