Overview We currently have a client in Keene, NH looking for aCardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech)! Focus Staff is seeking an CardiacSonographer (Echo Tech) who is highly motivated and energetic.

Requirements:
Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school ofRadiologic/Ultrasound Technology program. Requires nationalcertification from the American Registry of Diagnostic MedicalSonographers or equivalent if applicable and license by the stateregulatory agency if applicable Advance certification byaccrediting body in specialty, RVT/RCS/RDCS or equivalent forCardiac/Vascular, required within 18 months of hire if applicable.
BLS certification required. This position requires clinicalknowledge typically achieved with 1-2 years of experience. Mustdemonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills,analyze data and solve problems. Completed
AHA ACLS
Provider Coursewithin 12 months of employment, required. CCRN preferred SkilledNursing experience preferred psychiatric or mental health hospitalor outpatient clinic. A RN with a diploma or associates degree with2 years experience in an active treatment unit in a psychiatric ormental health hospital or outpatient clinic. On an individualbasis, other combinations of education and experience may beconsidered. Proficiency at all competencies required of aPolysomnographic Technologist. AND Certification by the AmericanRegistry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

Responsibilities:
Conducts multi-specialty diagnosticultrasound examinations according to departmental procedures. Thisperson works under the direction of the Manager, UltrasoundServices, Medical Director of Vascular Laboratory and RadiologyDepartment and the Administrative Director for the Department ofSurgery and Radiology. Works under limited direction of the MedicalDirector of the regional centers, Administrative of the regionalcenters and the Clinical Coordinator of Ultrasound Services. Thisposition requires the Technologist to work under the guidance ofexperienced staff sonographers within the regional ultrasoundprogram.
