In addition to our many benefits and perks, UAB Medicine provides a variety of resources to support employees both personally and professionally. To work directly with the Genetic Counselor in providing genetic information to referring physicians and other healthcare professionals and to coordinate genetic testing and results. To assist with counseling support for various genetics clinics. To coordinate care for patients with undiagnosed severe chronic medical conditions and to work closely with the UAB Undiagnosed Diseases Program (UDP) team including physicians, nurse practitioners and support staff.

Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science, Health Science or a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
