About the
Job:
The Endoscopy Technician’s responsibilities include preparing and maintaining the instruments, equipment, and sterile settings required for gastrointestinal operations at the medical facility.
What You’ll Do:
Performs sterile procedures on rooms and equipment, including scopes, both before and after procedures in accordance with instructions.
Provides assistance to registered nurses and physicians while they are performing procedures, as required.
Ensures that the appropriate equipment is functioning properly and carries out safety checks.
Performs routine maintenance and/or emergency repairs on endoscopic equipment.
Who You Are:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Licensed Nursing Assistant with experience in an Endoscopy setting or Surgical Technician with experience in Endoscopy setting preferred.
Medical Technician Certification from the State of New Hampshire required, unless other current NH License is held.
Current Nursing Assistant License (LNA) or certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred at the time of hire OR within thirty (30
- days of hire required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred at time of hire; OR completion of BLS certification within thirty (30) days of hire required.
