Clinic Lead Biller Russellville Hospital 15155 U.S. Highway 43, Russellville, AL 35653 Company Overview Russellville Hospital is a non-profit acute care facility with 49 beds, dedicated to serving northwest Alabama. The hospital offers a wide range of services, including a 24-hour Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit/Cardiac Care Unit, Respiratory Therapy, as well as inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and treatment services. Other services include Rehabilitation Services, Cardiac Catheterization, Ambulatory Surgery, Laboratory services, and Home Health. Summary Oversee the billing clerks and payment posters to ensure they create claims for our providers and long-term care provider groups to bill out to insurance. Will also oversee all payment posting to insurance and personal payments to patient accounts. Works on insurance denials. Will also ensure this is being done in a timely manner. Responsibilities All lead billers must be able to oversee and answer questions related to claim creation and payment posting. Work insurance denials and make appropriate corrections to be rebilled. Must work on the aging reports related to insurance and patient balances. Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred
