Practice Administrator – Dermatology Confidential North Venice, FL 34275 About the Role We are seeking an experienced and strategic Practice Administrator to lead the operations of our established dermatology practice in the Venice, FL area. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative clinical environment where leadership, organization, and innovation are essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence in patient care and team culture. As the Practice Administrator, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating a wide range of operational activities. You will work closely with practice owners and department leaders to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while positioning the practice for continued stability and growth. Your success will be measured by the quality of our operational systems, financial performance, employee engagement, and patient satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Oversee the overall business operations of the dermatology practice, including clinical support services, HR, billing, compliance, scheduling, and vendor management. Partner with ownership and leadership teams to develop and implement operational goals and long-term strategic plans. Analyze financial and performance data; develop and manage budgets to ensure consistent profitability and efficiency. Lead, mentor, and support staff to foster a collaborative, high-performing, and patient-centered culture. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as internal policies and procedures. Oversee marketing and growth strategies to support new patient acquisition and service expansion. Implement systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintain accountability across departments. Champion the practice’s mission, values, and service standards to ensure an outstanding patient experience. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in healthcare or medical practice management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or administrative role. Experience in dermatology, multi-provider specialty practices, or outpatient medical group operations is highly desirable. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Deep understanding of healthcare administration, revenue cycle management, insurance reimbursement, and clinical workflows. Proficiency in practice management software (EMRs), Microsoft Office Suite, and data reporting tools. Strong knowledge of marketing principles and strategies for patient acquisition and brand development. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly across all levels of the organization. Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills to manage staff, patient relations, and vendor partnerships effectively. High level of organizational agility and attention to detail in managing complex projects and competing priorities. Proven ability to lead in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare setting with professionalism, resilience, and sound judgment.

Full-time Pay:
$75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
