High school Description Join our team of competent andcompassionate professionals as a Staff Supervisor in the IndependentLiving Support (ILS) program at Behavioral Health Network! Initiates,supports and ensures quality of life through empowerment, safetyawareness and respect and dignity. Ensures overall health and well-beingby actively participating in Health Care Management meetings chaired bythe area nurse, accompanying individuals to medical appointments, andarranging follow up. Oversees all aspects of medication treatment andadministration, including preparing Health Care Provider Orders,Medication Administration Records, Current Medication Lists, Weekly MAPChecklists, Monthly MAP Checklists, and Medication Occurrence Reports(HCSIS) and ensures corrective action required by a MAP Audit occurs.
Provides crisis intervention and emergency services as needed, includingserving as a member of the area on call team. Acts as primaryimplementer of strategies to meet ISP goals. Takes necessary actions toprotect individuals in the event of an abuse/neglect complaint andcompletes all required follow-up from internal and externalinvestigations. Completes all documentation required by the electronichealth record. Reviews portions of the electronic health record preparedby supervisees in a thorough and timely manner. Completes programspecific forms and required, time-sensitive documents in a timelymanner, and ensures proper review before submission, including HealthEncounter Forms and Contract Reports. Completes health andmedication-related documents as individually indicated and in accordancewith Agency Policy and MAP regulations. In the Developmental Servicesprogram at BHN (Behavioral Health Network), we provide 24-hour staffedresidential services, community day support, individual and familysupport services, a social club, and an advocacy program. BHN values theindividuals we serve in shared living and small group homes. Each personwe serve is part of a team that includes family, BHN staff, and otherproviders who work together to assess the individual’s needs and goalsand then create and maintain a plan reflecting strengths, capabilities,and desires. Supervisory experience preferred. Minimumof Associates Degree or equivalent, or; High School diploma / GED + 3years relevant experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Individualsmust be committed to individual empowerment and growth, human rights,and community integration. Must have familiarity with internet, wordpr0cessing and email.
