Job Description

Responsibilities Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Clinical Services to lead our clinical team in providing exceptional patient care. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, maintaining high standards of clinical practices, and fostering a culture of excellence within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of medical terminology, and extensive knowledge in critical care, hospice care, and documentation review. The Director of Clinical Services is responsible to oversee the day to day operations of the Social Services Department and manages the department in accordance with mission, goals, and priorities of the hospital. The Manager ensures provision of clinical services in areas of responsibility to patients and families in a professional and effective manner. Responsibilities Provides daily administrative and clinical supervision to Social Workers. Ensures productivity and growth through individual and group supervising of clinical staff. Maintains clinical standards for area of responsibility in compliance with outside survey groups Promotes Performance Improvement activities which measure the quality and appropriateness of clinical services including measurement of specific managed care performance standards. Monitors overall performance and quality of care delivered by Social Work Staff. Holds performance evaluation discussions, provides feedback and develops with team through coaching and training Collaborates with other managers to promote support and interdisciplinary culture. . Recruitment of department personal Assumes an active role in various hospital committees to promote quality clinical care. Promotes staff morale through direct active employee participation in internal audits, annual review of policies and procedures, and hospital-wide Performance Improvement Work. Provides direct service to patients/families as defined in the job description for Clinical Social Worker.
