Req #: 32433 This is a full-time, 36 hour per week position.
MaineHealth Cardiology – Brunswick | MaineHealth is searching for a Referral Specialist. This person will be responsible for handling new patient referral requests related to Cardiology. This includes answering calls, working queues, scheduling new patient appointments, managing paperwork, performing data entry, and maintaining patient records and reports. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering and directing phone calls.
  • Scheduling and confirming patient appointments.
  • Maintaining patient files and ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Processing patient paperwork.
  • Coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient care.
