In this role, you will provide leadership and oversight for the Peer Support Team, ensuring efficient client flow, high-quality customer service, and full compliance with regulatory standards. You will coordinate closely with clinical and operational teams to support intake and crisis services, coach and develop peer support staff, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the department. Employee Discount Program Mileage Reimbursement Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily peer support operations in crisis and intake services, including triage coordination and follow-up care Ensure adequate staffing across all shifts, including weekends and holidays Coordinate closely with clinical, admissions, and nursing staff for seamless service delivery Ensure compliance with DMH, CARF, HIPAA, and behavioral health regulations Monitor team performance, conduct evaluations, and implement coaching and corrective action plans Lead CQI efforts by tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to identify system gaps and improve processes Stay current on program eligibility requirements and crisis protocols Represent the department in system-wide meetings and contribute innovative, cost-effective ideas Document staff performance, workflow challenges, and service improvement opportunities Perform other duties as assigned Education and/or

Experience Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, behavioral health, social work, psychology, or related field required Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in customer service or crisis response preferred Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) required within six months of start date Required License/Certification (one of the following): Certified Peer Specialist (CPS)

  • must obtain within 6 months if not already held
Additional Qualifications:

In-depth understanding of behavioral health services and crisis stabilization programs Ability to lead calmly and professionally in high-volume, high-stress situations Strong real-time decision-making and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, departments, and external partners Willingness to travel within the north central region as needed
