Home Health Aide (HHA) Flobega Health LLC. New Egypt, NJ 08533 Job Summary The Home Health Aide plays a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. This position involves assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to caregiving and the ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities. Duties Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Perform catheter care and other medical tasks as needed. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Document client care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress. Support clients in engaging in social activities and maintaining independence. Qualifications Previous experience in home care or caregiving is preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality. Skills in medication administration and basic medical documentation are essential. Ability to provide catheter care and assist with other personal health needs. Strong cooking skills for meal preparation tailored to client dietary requirements. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently while being part of a team. This role requires dedication, empathy, and a proactive approach to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve in their homes.
