High School diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance. Ability to pass a background check. Patience, compassion, and strong interpersonal skills. What You’ll Do as a Direct care support professional: Assist with daily living activities: personal hygiene, meal prep, medication management, and mobility. Foster independence by teaching communication, decision-making, and social skills. Advocate for individuals’ rights and dignity. Maintain a safe, clean, and encouraging environment. Accurately document care, progress, and incidents.
