PCA Personal Care Assistant Homecare Precision Mt Holly Spgs, PA 17065 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including outpatient clinics, medical-surgical units, and trauma centers. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their comfort and well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide mobility assistance, helping clients move safely within their home or facility. Monitor and report changes in clients’ health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship. Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required by healthcare protocols. Experience Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a related field is preferred. Familiarity with various healthcare settings such as Level I Trauma Centers, Level II Trauma Centers, outpatient clinics, emergency medicine, inpatient care, OR (Operating Room), PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), and geriatrics is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams and family members.
