Full Job Description Duties:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
• Drive individuals to appointments, activities, and community outings
• Engage individuals in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for individuals
• Collaborate with a team of professionals, including social workers and nurses, to ensure the well-being of individuals

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in direct support or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed to assist individuals with mobility
• First aid and CPR certification is a plus
