has been providing day, residential and employment supports to adults with intellectual disabilities since 1971. We provide services funded through ECF, CHOICES, DIDD and private pay. Progress Inc. employs over 200 support staff helping individuals live the most independent lives in Davidson and surrounding counties. This is a job that people feel good about doing! Progress is currently looking for experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support an adult MALE in the South Nashville area that does have some behavioral challenges.

Weekends Primary Duties:

• Assist person supported with activities of daily living
• Hanging out; Having conversation
• Assisting with basic cleaning of the home
• Preparing meals
• Assist person supported with achieving desired outcomes
• Follow behavior support plan. Practice required behavioral reinforcement.
• Complete daily documentation and required behavioral documentation
• Medication administration
• Transportation to and from appointments and community outings
• Communicate any changes in behavior or health immediately to supervisor

Requirements:

• Prior experience working with behaviorally challenged adults highly preferred!
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must not be listed on any registries reporting any form of abuse or fraud
• Must have a valid DL and vehicle insurance
• Must be able to complete 40 hours of PAID pre-service training
