Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks. Promote independence and self-advocacy by encouraging residents to engage in decision-making and social activities. Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with case managers, families, and other team members. Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being and report any concerns to appropriate staff. Facilitate participation in recreational, educational, and community-based activities to enhance residents’ quality of life. Qualifications Proven experience in caregiving and patient care Knowledge of first aid and emergency response Experience in group home and assisted living environments Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) Strong patient observation skills Background in long-term care and social work Proficient in cooking and maintaining cleanliness in living spaces
