Lab Technician Job Description As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing daily evaluations and approvals of finished products, conducting process quality checks, and executing basic microbiological testing. You will also be responsible for equipment calibration and troubleshooting, as well as calculating dilutions. Your role includes conducting ingredient inspections, packaging inspections, inventory control, and maintaining sample archives. Laboratory tests such as solvent extraction, sieving, pH, protein, fiber, fat, ash, microbiological plating, and testing of all raw ingredients and finished packaged products are part of your duties. You will record test results and communicate findings with operating departments and management. Additionally, you will perform in-process quality checks, collect test samples, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
