Move Forward with Hiregenics! Hiregenics is immediately hiringfor Laboratory Technician in Mill Hall, PA. As a LaboratoryTechnician you will;Formulate blends/compounds in a laboratoryenvironment under direction of AD personnel Tests samples usingindustry/company approved technologies Record test results andmaintain laboratory notebook (provided) – ascertaining completenessand accuracy of all data generated Makes observations of tests,failure modes, notable events in the course of testing Record rawdata into electronic spreadsheets – saved to site network Maintainintegrity of testing instruments through proper handling andtraining. Follow standard operating procedures during use ofequipment Clean testing equipment Follow safety procedures whenhandling materials and running equipment Participate in ensuringthat the lab area and equipment are kept clean and organizedResponsible for upkeep and housekeeping within R D labs andsupport areas Obtains assistance from supervisor or higher levellab personnel if problems arise or normal instructions areinsufficient This is a full-time opportunity.
Monday – Friday12:00pm-8:30pm The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma(minimum), associates or BS degree in Chemistry or related fieldpreferred 2 years related experience preferred Internal EHS &adhesive testing and synthesis training – Hazardous Materialstraining level 1 (Provided)
Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesRequired:
Fully developed proficiency of chemistry and/or testing ofchemical products. Basic understanding of mathematics (must) Basicmechanical aptitude Problem-solving skills Ability to use computerand testing equipment (proficient with MS Office and Googledocs/sheets is preferred) Ability to read and follow standardoperating procedures with an attention to detail Works with limitedsupervision and guides, including appropriately managing timerequirements and acting as a self-motivator Ability to communicatein a clear and professional manner Skill in maintaining courteous,professional and effective working relationships with employees atall levels of the organization Ability to receive constructivefeedback Ability to maintain laboratory notebook Adaptability toaccept and perform work assignments that are outside the normalday-to-day routine or to changes in how business is accomplishedand work is accomplished
