LPN/RN Aace Healthcare Services Calhoun, GA 30701 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential nursing care to patients, focusing on those with developmental disabilities and children, while ensuring a safe and supportive environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Conduct diagnostic evaluations and monitor patient progress, documenting findings accurately in electronic health records. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for patients with developmental disabilities and children. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options, infection control practices, and overall health management. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care effectively. Utilize systems such as Epic and Athenahealth for patient documentation and management. Perform botulinum toxin treatments under the supervision of qualified medical personnel when applicable. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Skills Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly Epic and Athenahealth. Experience in Young Adult and working with children, especially those with developmental disabilities. Strong understanding of infection control practices to ensure patient safety. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations effectively. Familiarity with ophthalmology procedures is a plus. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on empathy and support.
