This is a temporary, full-time opportunity to make a real impact by supporting high-achieving, college-bound high school students from under-resourced communities.

LPN Nurse – Summer Academy Health Team ????

Amherst College, Amherst, MA ????
Program Dates:
Now through July 31, with expected LPN start the week of June 29-Aug 1 ????
Salary:
Estimated $7,000-$8,500, based on start date and experience ????️
Includes:
Room and board, plus travel reimbursement up to $500 ???? Daily 8-hour shifts, rotating on-call at night, with one day off per week

LPN Role Includes:
Supporting Scholar health needs (daily meds, minor injuries, illness assessment) Coordinating off-site medical visits and urgent care if needed Working in tandem with Lead RN and program staff Keeping accurate health records and managing medications Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and supportive student environment
Must-Haves:
Current MA LPN license (or compact with eligibility in MA) 1+ years clinical experience CPR/First Aid certification Enjoys working with youth from diverse backgrounds Comfortable living in a residential campus setting (non-AC housing) Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills If you’re passionate about youth health and education and want to spend the summer making a difference while working with an energetic and mission-driven team—we’d love to connect with you!
