The Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes and supporting families during challenging times. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including ICD-9 coding when necessary. Provide specialized care for infants and patients with developmental disabilities. Assist in emergency room settings, responding swiftly to critical situations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans. Conduct diagnostic evaluations and administer laboratory tests as required. Engage in travel nursing assignments as needed to support various healthcare facilities. Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a safe environment for patients. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Experience in pediatric intensive care or emergency room settings is preferred. Familiarity with Athenahealth software is a plus. Strong knowledge of patient care protocols and best practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Compassionate approach to patient care, especially for those with developmental disabilities or requiring infant care.
