Responsibilities:

Under the direction of aRegistered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse deliversefficient and effective nursing care while achieving positiveclinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

• Evaluatepatients/residents to collect data, observe condition and reportchanges in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and careplanning.
• Administer medications and performs treatments perphysician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided byunlicensed staff.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of anapproved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must becurrently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pendinglicensed practical nurse licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPRcertification if employed at a skilled nursing center or asrequired by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
