Job Summary:
Join our patient care team at HMA, delivering efficient, high-quality care in a positive and supportive environment. As a Medical Assistant or LPN, you’ll provide both clinical and administrative support, ensuring a smooth and professional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Take vital signs, update patient records, and assist with exams/procedures Administer medications, perform tests, and handle specimens Prep exam rooms and ensure proper sterilization and infection control Support physicians/providers with patient education and documentation Manage appointments, referrals, authorizations, and follow-ups Handle clerical tasks including phones, faxes, scanning, and supplies Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment Provide outstanding customer service with a patient-first mindset
Requirements:
For MA:
Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program or 1+ year of experience in a clinical setting or military medical training
For LPN:
Current & Unrestricted TN LPN License All Applicants:
CPR Certification (required) Strong communication, computer, and customer service skills Knowledge of medical terminology, EHR (preferred: Allscripts, EPIC), HIPAA, and safety protocols Valid TN driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with EHR systems, particularly EPIC Prior work in a multi-specialty clinic or physician office
