As a Medical Assistant at our urgent care center, you will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers in the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

Assist healthcare providers with patient care, including preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, and documenting patient medical histories Perform various clinical tasks such as drawing blood, administering injections, and performing EKGs Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment, ensuring they are clean and properly stocked Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers, providing clear and concise instructions and explanations Process lab specimens and perform basic lab tests Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance information

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a medical assistant program from an accredited institution Minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical assistant, preferably in an urgent care or primary care setting Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information At our urgent care center, we value our employees and believe in investing in their professional growth.
