•Up to a $1,000 Sign on Bonus Available• Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant in our Primary Care Department at Baptist Primary Care Mandarin North in Jacksonville, Florida. This opening is a full-time opportunity.
This position is for the Baptist Primary Care Mandarin North office. The office has 6 providers. Candidate will be working in the phone room answering incoming calls, making/rescheduling appointments, reviewing results, taking messages and routing correctly. This is not a clinical position. Candidate must be willing to provide call support throughout the day.
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Provides nursing assistance to physician
Obtains vital signs
Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
Maintains medical documentation
Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
Processes prescription requests and referrals
