•Up to a $1,000 Sign on Bonus Available•
We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant II for the Baptist Heart Specialists office located at Baptist Beaches. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity Monday through Friday. Some travel to other locations is required when needed.
The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients and administering EKGs. Experience preferred but new Medical Assistants are welcomed to apply.
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Provides nursing assistance to physician
Obtains vital signs
Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
Maintains medical documentation
Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience
Over 5 years Patient Care Experience
Experience in Physician’s office
License and Certification
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
