Position Summary The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care by supporting providers with both clinical and administrative duties. The CMA prepares patients for visits, assists during exams, and streamlines clinic workflows to improve efficiency and patient experience.

Location:

Graham Clinic (454 Vernon Williams Rd. Hazlehurst, GA)

Schedule:

Up to 30 hours/week

Compensation:

Based on experience Key Responsibilities Welcome and prepare patients for exams; collect medical history and vital signs Assist providers during exams and procedures Conduct basic lab work, administer medications, manage prescriptions, and perform EKGs, suture removals, and dressing changes Educate patients on medications, diet, and care instructions Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Manage medical inventory and supplies Ensure compliance with safety and confidentiality protocols Contribute to a positive, mission-driven workplace environment

Qualifications Required:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or higher medical certification Clinical experience and proficiency in medical procedures Strong computer, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with a medical team Experience with inventory/supply management

Preferred:

Previous clinic or nonprofit/ministry experience Bilingual proficiency
