SPECIALTY MANAGEMENT SERVICES OF OUACHITA LLC 4400
Old Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA 71203 Dr. Keith Calhoun in Monroe is seeking a Medical Assistant to join his team.
SUMMARY:
Assists with patient care, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks. Obtains medical history and vital signs Administers medication/injections Rotate through both front and back office Front office duties include scheduling, checking in/out patients, insurance verification, collection of copays, answering phones, etc. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of the clinic.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
High school degree or equivalent required. 1 year of primary care office or urgent care setting preferred. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Front office experience preferred but not required
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required
