This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations within our clinic, particularly in dermatology and urgent care settings. Responsibilities Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Schedule appointments for both inpatient and outpatient services, managing the calendar efficiently. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical histories. Assist with medication administration and ensure proper documentation is maintained. Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate patient care and follow-up. Handle phone inquiries, addressing patient questions or directing them to appropriate staff. Maintain a clean and organized reception area, adhering to clinic protocols. Support the healthcare team with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dermatology, hospital medicine, and physiology. Experience in patient care settings, particularly in urgent care or outpatient clinics. Proficiency in basic life support techniques is preferred. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
