Job Description
Medical Assistant/LPN-Cardiology Nextaff Jackson, TN 38301 Nextaff is seeking an LPN’s and MEDICAL ASSISTANT’s needed for our busy cardiology clinic on a PRN basis. Candidate must have medical knowledge; medical office experience working with providers and pharmacies. Eclicalworks EMR experience is a plus!
What You’ll Be Doing:
Answering phone, working with pharmacies for prescription refills, patient questions, etc. Comfortable using email and interacting with Internet applications. Knowledge of practice management and electronic health records. Proven experience handling patients/customers and dealing with conflict. Working knowledge of managed care. Pleasant speaking voice and demeanor. Neat, professional appearance.
What You’ll Need:
CMA or LPN certification preferred Minimum of ONE year experience in a medical office setting. (Preferred) General understanding of medical office & terminology, along with medical records Excellent oral and written communication skills. Willing to undergo criminal background check and drug screen. (Required)
