Medical Assistant Position Available In Wilson, Tennessee

Medical Assistant 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Lebanon, TN 37087 Seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join a small medical practice. This is a part-time position. The assistant will work only on Monday mornings from 9am to 1pm.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, collecting patient history, and preparing patients for examinations
• Assist the physician with medical procedures and treatments
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally

Experience:

• Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) techniques
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
