Position Summary:

Safe Future LLC seeks a Temporary Medical Director to oversee behavioral health operations and compliance during a 90-day medical leave. This role also offers the opportunity to assume care of an active panel of 60-70 Medicaid and Medicare-certified clients, with the option to bill Medicare and Medicaid directly under your own NPI for covered clinical services delivered on site. Medical Director must be Medicaid and Medicare certified to be hired.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the designated Medical Director for the CMHC per AHCA regulations (Rule 59A-33) Provide oversight of psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and therapy authorizations Ensure compliance with Florida Medicaid, Medicare Part B, and CMS IOP billing standards Reassign benefits to Safe Future LLC for IOP and PHP services as required Option to assume care of 60-70 established behavioral health clients and bill under your own license/NPI for: Psychiatric evaluations Medication management Follow-up therapy or consultation Participate in peer review, incident reporting, utilization management, and treatment team meetings

Requirements:

MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Florida medical license Board certification in Psychiatry preferred Approved Medicare and Florida Medicaid provider, or eligible for immediate enrollment Able to complete Medicaid and Medicare reassignment of benefits for IOP oversight Level 2 Background Screening (can be initiated upon hire) Availability to serve for 90 days with option to extend or transition into part-time panelist Compensation $3,000/month for Medical Director duties Additional income for services billed directly to Medicare/Medicaid (clinical time) Flexibility to structure weekly patient appointments around Medical Director duties To Apply Send CV and availability to: safefutureaco@gmail.com
