This role is crucial in ensuring that our team provides exceptional care to our animal patients while maintaining a welcoming environment for pet owners. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in veterinary practices and excellent leadership skills to manage staff effectively. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily office operations, including scheduling staff, inventory, annd pursuing AAHA certification Ensure compliance with veterinary protocols and standards of care. Train and mentor staff on best practices in animal handling, customer service, and clinic procedures. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining equipment. Facilitate communication between veterinarians, staff, and pet owners to ensure clear understanding of treatment plans. Implement and maintain aseptic techniques within the clinic to ensure a safe environment for animals and staff. Handle financial transactions, including billing and payment processing. Skills Proficient in veterinary terminology and animal care practices. Experience in pet care settings, such as kennels or grooming facilities, is highly desirable. Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain cleanliness and prevent infection within the clinic. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, staff, and veterinarians. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team in a fast-paced environment.
